You can understand by it's name"tiny habits" it's very small and which takes less than 5-10 minutes. As it just takes very few minutes it's very easy to maintain. Even if you are bored are tired you will definitely do it because you brain think "it will just take few minutes so let's do it and decrease our to-do list because our brain likes to do small and easy thing which is less time and energy consuming.
2. They compound with time.
It's not only easy to maintain but also very effectively compoundable time to time. When you start doing any thing or when you adopt a new habit you don't feel much interested in it. So it's better to add in you small habits. For example: if you want to start your fitness journey then don't start it with doing heavy exercises and strict diet. What happens with it is when you start it with heavy and very energy taking exercise and boring diet you feel like ohh it's so boring and time taking and finally you quit it. you can just do is, start it with doing 10 minutes morning streching or 5-10 minutes of morning warm up or you can simply start it with walking some extra steps. It's will make an impact on your brain that is easy and I feel good after doing it. And slowly it becomes your habits.

Now where did science come into this? It's actually a science work which basically means the energy or force that keeps something moving or progressing in a particular direction. Just like a rolling ball gathers speed and power, momentum in life refers to the positive energy or progress we build up as we consistently take action towards our goals or objectives.
So when you start doing something with small energy and less time taking it slowly father's more energy and more power. Which keeps you motivated and dedication to that particular work. You have seen that some times we think we will take only one bite but that one bite finishes the whole plate. Isn't it? The same things happen here too. For example :If you have to complete any assignment or project in a week then you can divide it into small things like designing part in one day, drawing part in another day and writing on the other day. This is how our body and brain works. It's human psychology, we humans like to do small things and hate doing big things. The benifit of breaking down big goals are, it keeps you motivated whenever you do that small things on that day. Whereas if you think I'll complete it in one day with full of concentration then it's never going to complete bro.
5. Build self discipline.
Discipline is something which keep you motivated to do a particular work even if you are not interested in it. So when you know the power of tiny habits you will do the work even if you are not interested in doing it. But how? Let me tell you, when you are not interested in doing a particular work then your brain think like let's do it because its gonna take 2-6 minutes then why to procrastinate it. And slowly this becomes your habits and you start to become self-discipline. So this is how it works.
