How To Stay Consistent In Studies.

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog

Being consistent in studies becomes quite difficult for students because they have been studying for more than 10 years and to continue the same thing for a long time becomes difficult. But it's very important to be consistent in studies because this phase of life is essential for every person. How To Stay Consistent In Studies.
Studies are important and performing well academically is very important, it's not only important but it makes a good impact on you too. When you perform academically well, then your confidence level increases, you become smarter and you develop many skills.

Staying consistent in anything is difficult. But you have to be very disciplined and consistent at any work you do if you want to become successful. Consistency is difficult to maintain yet not as difficult as you think/as it seems. Where there is a will, there is a way. If you are interested in doing some work then it becomes easy for you to be consistent in it.

In this blog post, I will share some of the best tips that will help you be consistent in your studies and you can even become consistent at other things too by following these simple tips. So without any further delay let's start the blog.

1. Study daily, even when you're not interested.

If you want to become consistent at something then first you have to make it as a routine. For example, if you want to study regularly then you have to study every day, no matter how long you study. It might be 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours or 5 hours.

If you want to improve your consistency then you have to make it a habit/routine. Try to study every day without missing, even if you are not interested in the mood of studying, just open the books and see all the images, and pictures and try to read, just read or write something. Do it every day, in a few days or weeks you will get interested in your studies and will find it easy to maintain consistency.
That's all, just open the books and study for a few minutes

2. Use the Pomodoro technique.

It's a famous technique in Japan which means to work with focus for 25 minutes and 5 minutes of break after every 25 minutes. It's a time management technique that supports staying focused for a long time in a particular work.

So from now on, every time you study take small breaks in the middle and don't use phones in that break time or else these 5 minutes will turn into 30 minutes without knowing. In that break time, you can go for a small walk, have some healthy snacks, take a quick nap or do anything you like.

This will keep you focused without feeling overwhelmed. So that you can maintain consistency without feeling tired.

3. Commit to studying for just 5 minutes.

Whenever you don't feel like studying but you know you have to study then promise yourself that you will study for 5 minutes, just for 5 minutes not more than that. You can even keep an alarm of 5 minutes and sit down with your books.

The purpose/benefit of doing it is, as you start studying you will get engaged in doing that work and you will feel interested in studying and you will not even notice that those 5 minutes are turned into 1 hour.
That's the power of your mind. Your brain convinces you to continue the work you are doing and that's how you can be consistent at studying effectively and effortlessly.

4. Have a clear goal/purpose

Everything you do needs to have a purpose of doing it. When you have a strong goal of achieving something then only you can convince your mind to do it heartfully. When you do any work with will then only you can succeed in that work.

When the egg brokes from the outside it ends, but when the egg brokes from the inside it gets a new life. In the same way, if you have the will and interest in studying then it's gonna be easy for you to stay motivated but if you are doing it under someone's pressure then it's a waste of working hard doing that work.

So first you need to find the actual purpose of studying so hard. Whether it is to get good marks, to prove something to someone, to make proud to your parents proud or to become the topper of the class. First, figure out the purpose and then work on it.
I am telling you to find the goal because, when you know the purpose then it becomes easy for you to stay motivated and consistent for a long time.

5. Keep motivating yourself

Everyone needs the motivation to do some work. You will need motivation for your studies too. If you are an introvert then it's easy for you to motivate yourself as you are self-motivating but sometimes everyone feels a lack of motivation. Motivation is just like caffeine, when you consume it your energy level suddenly spikes and after some time you will be the same.
Self-motivation is good but depending on some other things to get motivated can be bad. Discipline is the best way to stay consistent at any work, more than the motivation.
The best way to motivate yourself is to sit in a peaceful place, close your eyes and think about why you have started and how will be the result of your hard work. Imagine the purpose, goal and dreams of studying so hard and you are done. Your motivation will be so high.

6. First, convince your mind to study

Before studying, just convince your mind, as I have already told you that when an egg brokes from the outside it ends, but when the egg brokes from the inside it gets a new life. Just question yourself if you have the courage and interest to study every day. Or can you study every day without having an interest? If your answer is yes then start studying.
If you are just studying every day like completing one of your tasks and minimizing the to-do list then I think it would not be as effective as when you study heartfully while having a dream in your eyes that doesn't let you sleep. "Conquer the battlefield of the mind before winning the battlefield of the world."

7. Study in a clean and organized space.

If you want to be productive then make sure your surrounding also needs to be productive. You can't study productively in an unorganized and ugly space. Wherever you are studying make sure that area is clean and tidy.
Some also say to avoid studying on the bed or else you will feel sleepy as the bed is mentioned for sleeping. But I will say you study wherever you like, wherever you are habituated to. You study wherever you feel like it's totally on you. But the place should be clean and your notes, stationary and anything you keep along with you should also be clean.

8. Take enough sleep

See, personally, I believe that if you want to be consistent at anything, you have to be productive and for that, you must get enough sleep. If you are a teenager working so hard to perform well academically then you must take 7-8 hours of sleep every day. And if you don't take it then you may have to face some challenges such as poor concentration, weak memory power, feeling sleepy after lunch and many more which can have a bad impact on your studies.
For me sleep/rest is mandatory, without enough sleep I can't do anything with my full attention. So sleep well and stay healthy.

9. Eat well

Same as like getting enough sleep is important, enough nutrition is also important you must know it, you might have learned the importance of balanced food/nutrition in your biology class.

If you are healthy then you are wealthy. If you are healthy then you can stay active for the whole day. Where as on the other hand if you have low zinc and iron deficiency then you will be feeling lazy, lightheaded, less concentrated and less motivated throughout the day which can make it difficult for you to stay consistent in your studies.

So eat healthy, be healthy, look healthy and feel healthy. Even if you don't have that opportunity to eat healthy then please don't even eat unhealthy. Always prefer a healthy option.

10. 5 minutes matters, don't procrastinate.

Procrastination becomes a speed breaker to your consistency. Whenever you want to start studying don't think I'll study from 8'O clock, after 5 minutes or after 30 minutes. If you wait for those 5 minutes then those 5 minutes will turn into afternoons at 2 pm and you will keep procrastinating and the day will end.
Never waste your 5 minutes just start doing the work by following the 3rd tip. Everything is easy but it depends on you how strong your mindset is. Having a strong mindset matters a lot and if you want me to post a blog on how to build a strong mindset in simple ways then Please comment.

Conclusion.

Students are mostly teenagers and in that teenage it becomes very difficult to stay consistent in studies. But you must know how to control your emotions. Don't let your emotions control you, you control your emotions. Once your emotions start to control you then it is very difficult to come out of it.
You must have a strong mindset and clear goals. I hope that you like the 10 tips I have shared with you from my student life experience. If you find it helpful then please comment below. Share it with your friends to help them out stay consistent in their studies along with you.
